McDonald's starts their lunch menu promptly at 10:30 am on weekdays and 11:00am on the weekends. They don't have rotating hours for their menu.
They serve some breakfast items all day until they close. but some are open 24 hours.
They do not serve lunch or dinner items during breakfast hours. Certain things are cooked at lower temperatures than burgers and sausage and the 10:1 grill also works as the egg grill in the morning. So they have to raise the temperature on the grill at around 10:00am on the weekdays to get it hot enough to cook burgers so if you've ever gone through the drive-through and tried to order something at 10:25 and they told you that they were out. it's because they are getting ready for the changeover AND probably ran out of eggs. sausage or bacon.
We usually left the hotcake grill on until the last minute. if there was batter left and those were the one thing that we made fresh per order.

Now they mass produce almost every item on the menu since they have Quing ovens (high powered microwaves). heated storage units, and full clam shells on the 10:1 and 4:1 grills. Everything is made to order. but hotcakes don't hold well in a storage unit and super nuking them turns them into frisbees.
The times I mentioned are currently in the United States in every time zone.
The lunch menu varies from store to store. Depending on where you are they might have lunch all day, and breakfast all day. If not breakfast would start at 1 AM at 24/7 restaurants and end at 10:30 AM. Though most restaurants serve most of the breakfast menu all day.
On weekdays lunch will start at 10:30 am. On Saturday and Sundays. it will start at 11 am and it will continue till close. However. 24-hour stores can vary. The store I personally work in stops serving our lunch menu at 2 am. But I do know of other 24 hour stores switching over at 5 am. It all depends on what the Owner-Operator of the store wants the transition time to be set at.

McDonald's has different serving times for lunch based on the day of the week.
Then they rotate the times weekly.
For instance. one week they serve lunch Monday through Wednesday beginning at 3 pm and it ends promptly at 7.
Thursday through Friday it begins at 4 am and ends at 8 am. Saturday and Sunday hours are 9 through 1pm.
Between the hours listed above, even though they are lunch hours, they only offer breakfast items. I know, weird.
If you try to order anything other than what they call lunch hours. even though it's really breakfast, you will promptly be arrested for being a public nuisance.
They take their lunch hours very seriously.
A little known McDonald's hack I'd be ordering a burger with an egg on top.
